Wine description:
Harvested on a blood moon night in January 2019. Ice wine is made from grapes that are harvested and pressed frozen at temperatures below -7 °C. Accordingly, the harvest usually only takes place between November and January. The water contained in the berries largely crystallizes at these sub-zero temperatures, only the sugar contained in the grapes binds non-crystallized water and the fruit acids contained.
